District judge Dick Greenslade, assessor to the Woolf committee, and Professor John Baldwin, director of the Institute of Judicial Administration and Professor of judicial administration at Birmingham University, were the lead speakers at an 'Access to Justice' conference held at the end of last month. The event, organised by the National Council for Access to Law, considered the impact of new legal aid rules.
