Israel's Rosenberg ties up with Spain's Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo

The Tel Aviv office of Israeli firm Rosenberg Keren-Polak Epelman Advocates has affiliated itself with Spanish firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo.

The Rosenberg office has four partners and 10 lawyers and specialises in tax work.

The office has been renamed Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Rosenberg on a trial basis and will be advertised as part of theCremades affiliated network. There is the option of permanently adopting the Cremades name in 2012.

The scope of the affiliation agreement includes all of the law firms currently linked with Cremades’ offices. This includes Borda Abogados in Argentina and González-Calvillo in Mexico.

“Cremades sees this as a means to increase the name and reputation of the Cremades Calvo-Sotelo brand name in the legal world,” said Rosenberg partner George Rosenberg.

“On the other hand, from our side, we thought this desirable because it provides a foothold in Latin America, and in particular Argentina from where many former residents are now living in Israel.”

Cremades senior partner Javier Cremades said his firm has been working with Israeli clients for approximately 15 years. Cremades and Rosenberg worked on a best-friends basis before the affiliation agreement.
