IP boutique Joshi & Welch has appointed former BP in-houser Bob Boad as its new chairman.
Prior to joining the firm Boad spent 26 years at BP, latterly as its global head of trade markets. The City-based firm was founded by Manish Joshi and Duncan Welch in 2006. Welch said of Boad’s appointment: “Bob’s hugely respected and known by all in the IP world. For Bob to join us is a testimony of the firm that we’ve created.”
