International Lease Finance Corporation hires GC from Gategroup

US-based International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a subsidiary of American International Group, has appointed Hooman Yazhari as general counsel.
In his new role Yazhari will head the aircraft lessor’s global legal team, compliance and regulatory functions, reporting to ILFC chief executive officer Henri Courpron.
Yazhari most recently served as head of legal at gategroup, a Zurich-based provider of inflight catering (3 October 2005).
Yazhari joined gategroup from Chadbourne & Parke’s London office, where he practised finance and corporate law.
Prior to private practice Yazhari was a founding director, general counsel and managing director at EM Health.
