International firms triumph in Paris bar elections

The number of representatives from international firms on the Paris bar council is significantly increased this morning (24 November) following the second round of elections.

Clifford Chance’s Claude Lazarus and Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s Dominique Mondoloni were both elected to the council. Bredin Prat senior partner Jean-François Prat and former Landwell head Gérard Nicolai have also been elected.

However Edouard Didier of Allen & Overy narrowly missed being elected. He was 20th out of the candidates remaining in the second round, and did not gather enough votes to bag one of the 17 seats available.
