Insurance claim for Lords

A case which will probe the liability of the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) to meet certain types of claims is heading for the House of Lords. Leave has been given for an appeal by Brian White, who was injured after a car in which he was a passenger crashed. White wants to challenge a finding that he is not entitled to damages on the basis that although he did not know the driver was uninsured he should have known. The Court of Appeal has reversed that decision.
