    Lehman, Woolies and Waterford Wedwood vs Zavvi, Whittards and Adams Childrenswear - I know which side of that divide I'd rather be on.... And what relevance does Allders have to this? It went into Admin in 2005!!!! Sounds to me like Alisdair Campbell is doing the PR for DLA and Hammonds.....

  • Funny thing....

    From what I've heard, a fair percentage of Hammonds insolvency team are corporate lawyers who were "re-structured" in the recent redundancies. But of course, as Mr Alderton says "It’s a completely different skill set to step into..."

    Speaking of DLA's heritage, it's interesting to remember that both Tony Bugg (of Linklaters/Lehman's fame) and John Alderton are ex-DLA partners (as are many others!)
