More sets of chambers are installing ACE Systems' latest version of Infinity software.
The new software has attracted both Pick users who have decided to switch from their existing system and Unix users upgrading from the previous version of the software.
The strategy planner enables greater user control over data and includes the following application areas for law firms: accounting, time recording, management reports, marketing database and control, purchase ledger, word processing, cash book, document management, case management and workflow management.
Infinity also provides a 'Night Clerk' which performs strategic tasks overnight, such as writing letters, updating diaries or 'to-do' lists and sending messages to users.
New recruits to Infinity include Unix users Exchange Chambers in Liverpool. Tom Handley, Exchange practice manager says: "We originally looked at both Infinity and Meridian systems, but decided on Infinity because we already had ACE systems.
"The Infinity system has made a quantum leap forward and offers invaluable and unique features."
The system upgrade will coincide with an office reorganisation that is intended to reinforce the position of Exchange Chambers as one of the most technology literate sets in the country.
DM Harris chambers in Liverpool and the London chambers of Alan Tyrrell QC, Mark Strachan QC, Carl Teper and Peter Heppel QC are also in the process of installing the up-dated Infinity system.
