Indian firm FoxMandal Little (FML) has continued its expansion, opening two new Indian offices.
FML will open up offices in Lucknow and an associate office in Allahabad with Gaurav Bhatia, the sole partner in Bhatia & Co.
Three of Bathia's total of seven associates are expected to also join FML.
FML managing partner Som Mandal said that Bhatia was well connected with the local business community and that his client base would be useful in building relationships in areas other than just litigation.
Bhatia has in the past advised clients including business conglomerates such as Reliance ADA Group, Bharti Enterprises and Sahara India, as well as corporates such as sugar producers Bajaj Hindustan and Balrampur Chinni Mills, United Breweries' McDowell brands, packaging company UFLEX and the Steel Authority of India.
He said: "I am positive that my existing client base will benefit tremendously from the wide areas of practice given FML's established [network] of offices and practice areas."
