Robin Parry joined Ince this month and will shortly move to the firm’s Piraeus office where he will be the first dedicated shipping finance partner. His hire is designed to develop the firm’s marine finance practice in Greece, where it already has an established litigation and casualty team headed by office managing partner Jonathan Elvey.
Parry comes to Ince after 20 years at Watson Farley, during which he has practised for 10 years in Greece. He will work closely with Ince partner David Baker, who joined the firm from Norton Rose in September 2004.
Parry said that he hoped the shipping finance practice would be an engine room for growth over the next few years.
