Ince & Co hires ex-Norton Rose shipping ace

Ince & Co has plucked a former Norton Rose partner in a bid to bolster its burgeoning ship finance team. David Baker will be responsible for the launch of a ship finance practice at Ince & Co’s Piraeus office, which currently focuses solely on maritime litigation. Baker set up an equivalent practice for Norton Rose, also within its Piraeus office. His move reflects increased efforts by large maritime firms to penetrate the ship banking market in the wake of the current ship construction boom.
