InBev Western Europe general counsel Deepak Malhotra been appointed to the role of corporate legal chief as part of his extended duties. The brewing company opted to incorporate the Western Europe and corporate teams under the leadership of one person. Malhotra, who replaced Miren Aguirre, has taken on the global IP,competition and M&A legal functions. He will divide his time between London and Belgium, where the corporate team is based.
