Swedish polymer solutions company Trelleborg today announced that former Dometic Group general counsel Charlotta Grähs will replace Ulf Gradén as the company’s general counsel from 1 October.
Grähs will take on a role as part of Trelleborg’s group management and act as secretary to its board of directors. She joins the company from her role as group general counsel for global marine appliances manufacturer Dometic Group, where she worked for over three years.
The company’s CEO Peter Nilsson said in a statement that Grähs’ expertise in structural changes, acquisitions and corporate governance made her the perfect candidate to lead the development of Trelleborg’s legal department. Grähs will lead a team of 15 lawyers.
Gradén has worked as general counsel and secretary to Trelleborg’s board of directors since 2001, and is due to retire on 1 October, although a company spokesperson said that he will continue to advise the company in specific areas.
