The Director of the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors has given evidence at an industrial tribunal after being accused of overseeing a culture of racism while at the CPS. Peter Ross, formerly branch manager of the Bow Street offices of the CPS before joining the OSS three years ago, is accused of race and sex discrimination by senior crown prosecutor Maria Bamieh. An employment tribunal in South London heard him deny all allegations.
