In brief: Taylor Joynson Garrett sues Touche Ross

The partners of City firm Taylor Joynson Garrett are suing leading accountants Touche Ross for damages for breach of contract and negligence over reports to the Law Society. The writ, just issued for the firm in the High Court by London firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, centres on the accountancy firm's compilation of a report to the Law Society in compliance with the requirements of the Accountants Report Rules 1986 for the period 1 July 1989 to 30 April 1990.
