Stephenson Harwood will make up six partners in the areas of tax, shipping, banking and project finance on 1 May. Three are based in the UK with the others in Piraeus, Singapore and Hong Kong.Dibb Lupton Alsop has appointed 17 new partners, including four each in the corporate and commercial litigation departments with effect from 1 May.Nabarro Nathanson has appointed nine new partners. Six are based in the firm's London offices, two in Sheffield and one in Reading.Rowe & Maw has expanded its litigation, property and insolvency departments by appointing four new partners with effect from 1 May.Manchester firm Chaffe Street has expanded its corporate finance team with the appointment of two new partners.Four new partners will join Morgan Bruce, two from within the firm, one from Mitel Corporation and one from Clifford Chance.Simmons & Simmons has appointed 17 new partners with effect from 1 May, including four in China and two in Italy. Last week The Lawyer incorrectly stated that the firm had made up only seven partners.
