Lovell White Durrant has become the fourth UK firm to open an office in Washington DC after Clifford Chance, Cameron McKenna, Freshfields and Linklaters. Lovells already has offices in New York and Chicago, and has put its Chicago partner Anne Fortney in charge of the Washington office, which will focus on consumer financial services and general public policy before switching to regulatory work.
