Linklaters & Paines has become the second international firm in a month, following US firm White & Case in September, to open a representative office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new office will be headed by partner David Fenwick who is relocating from Linklaters' New York office. Linklaters' managing partner Terence Kyle said: "Our objective is to enhance our profile in Brazil for international capital markets, structured finance, project finance and privatisation and inward investment work."
