Law Society investigative staff who staged a one-day strike last month have voted 31 to 8 to accept a new offer from management which is believed to include performance-related pay increases of about £6,000, phased in over several years. Harminder Singh, the MSF union official representing the staff, said that the Law Society had invited the union to continue negotiating with management in order to work out the criteria to be used to enable staff to achieve the maximum pay.
