The president of the International Bar Association will add his voice to the debate on gender discrimination later this week. Professor J Ross Harper will be addressing the sixth annual meeting and conference of the Inter-Pacific Association in Manila on 3 May. He commented: “The legal profession as a whole needs to be aware that, at least in some quarters, gender prejudice continues to exist. It is only once the problem is recognised and highlighted that we can start down the road to truly levelling the playing field.”
