South-east firm Blake Lapthorn has abandoned its high street offices and moved to a purpose-built motorway side office complex called Harbour Court. The new office, next to the M27 at Portsmouth, will house staff from seven of its regional offices under one roof, creating a personal client division. The commercial division will remain in a similar site three junctions along the M27 where it has been since 1990. The site has more parking facilities than at the previous high street locations and access to a hotel and supermarket. The firm believes this will be more convenient for clients and having all the services under one roof will make it more like a City firm.
