In brief: Barrister wins army legal post

Barrister Suzanna Woollam has been appointed as assistant Judge Advocate General to officiate at Army and Royal Air Force Courts Martial in the UK and abroad. Woollam, who was appointed as a deputy Judge Advocate in 1990, was called to the Bar in 1975 and was later admitted as a solicitor. In 1987 she was recalled to the Bar. She was the first woman officer to serve with Army Legal Services, and she also worked as a solicitor to the Metropolitan Police and as a senior Crown Prosecutor.
