In brief: Bar School joins forces in equality drive

The Bar School has agreed to work with the Commission for Racial Equality to reduce the disparity in exam success between ethnic minority and white students. As part of a joint agreement published this week, the Council of Legal Education, which runs the school, has agreed to undertake a research and monitoring programme to pinpoint the reasons for a historic disparity in results. The CRE will work with the school to implement a "wide ranging" equal opportunities programme.
