The Association of Women Solicitors has elected Glenys Arden as its new chair. Arden, a partner in Liverpool firm Gamon Arden & Co, sits as an acting stipendiary magistrate and also as a part-time chair of Social Security and Child Support Appeal tribunals. She is also a member of the Law Society's committee on standards and guidance, and of the training committee of her local Law Society. She has been an AWS member for 10 years and was the founder chair of the Merseyside Chester and North Wales branch.
