In brief: Anton Pillar rule-breaker to pay £2,500

Blackburn sole practitioner Bushra Anwar was ordered to pay a former client £2,500 compensation, plus costs last week after breaching the Anton Piller rules to recover a £3,500 debt. At Manchester High Court, Justice Michael Sachs said Anwar's conduct was "very serious contempt". He told Anwar: "No solicitor should behave like this. This was outrageous, disgraceful behaviour."
