Four out of five people with Aids or HIV believe that they are discriminated against, but only 4 per cent have approached a lawyer for help, according to research by conducted by Professor Avrom Sherr of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. Professor Sherr expects this to change as medical advances mean that Aids/HIV sufferers live longer and consequently need justice to get on with their lives.
