A parliamentary committee has scrapped the anti-discrimination clause introduced into the Access to Justice Bill. And, as predicted by The Lawyer last week, the committee has inserted a new clause - variously described by critics as "vague" and "half hearted" - outlining general objectives for the Community Legal Service, further down the Bill.
