Hunton & Williams soup up London litigation with Mayer Brown raid

Partners John Miles and Marie Kidwell will be taking a team of five associates to the US firm.

Miles and Kidwell, who were formerly at Denton Wilde Sapte, joined the Mayer Brown & Platt London office a year ago to set up a litigation capability. However, within several months of their joining Mayer Brown merged with Rowe & Maw.

Miles said: “We’re very excited about the synergies that exist between our practices and those of Hunton & Williams.”
