Salary range NQ – regions £33,000; London £48,000; 4PQE – regions £48,000; London £67,000.
Bonuses Formal partner bonus scheme, but no formal assistant bonus scheme – this is incorporated into the annual appraisal and objective-setting process. Determined for partners annually by panel review, ranging from between 5 and 20 per cent of earnings.
Training A full training programme for all lawyers to meet all training requirements, both technical and in terms of personal development.
Appraisals Ongoing performance management programme, structured around an annual review and six-monthly update. Only partners are appraised on a 360° system.
Partner progression Eighty per cent of current partners are home-grown and 29 out of an approximate 150 partners are laterals. Youngest partner 25.
