This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Bonuses The general bonus system has been discontinued. Now bonuses are only available to partners, determined through formal appraisals, targets, specific reviews and awarded annually. The value range is between £5,000 and £30,000.
Training More than 200 courses available. The firm’s management courses have been accredited by the Law Society and 1 per cent of the budget goes into training.
Appraisals Committed to the process, but not 360°.
Partner progression Formal process in August. Group heads put forward potential candidates, who undertake written papers, psychometric tests and full panel interviews.
