This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Salary range NQ – £48,000; 4-6 years’ PQE – £90,000-£125,000.
Bonuses Structured bonus system based on billable and otherwise added-value hours.
Training and appraisals A syllabus of residential courses, soft skills and general training at every stage of development. Online appraisal system.
Partner progression A list of candidates is drawn up in November. Those eligible need a sponsor partner and a business plan, and must make a presentation to the new-partner committee.
