Howrey raids Linklaters for Brussels IP gap

Linklaters Brussels head of IP Carl De Meyer has defected to US firm Howrey Simon Arnold & White. De Meyer will be the US firm’s first IP partner in the Brussels office, which until now has concentrated purely on antitrust, although Howrey does already have IP expertise in London and Amsterdam. Howrey managing partner Bob Ruyak said his firm’s focus on contentious IP meant that De Meyer was a good fit for the firm.
