Howard Kennedy, the firm behind this summer's AIM float of Bollywood film distributor Eros, is planning a roadshow on the subcontinent early next year. The move reflects the confidence the firm has in the deals pipeline currently coming out of India. Howard Kennedy is currently in the early stages of advising an Indian property fund on an AIM flotation and hopes that a networking trip to Mumbai and Delhi will drum up additional business. Keith Lassman, the corporate finance partner at Howard Kennedy who led the team on the Eros IPO, said there was "a great deal of opportunity" in India, but also a need for education about the city. "Not everybody has heard of AIM," he added. Eros raised £27.5m on AIM in July when it floated. The company - the world's largest distributor of Bollywood firms - aims to use the funds to expand geographically and into new media.
