West End firm Howard Kennedy is attempting to kick-start the growth of a family practice with the hire of partner Juliette Peters.
Peters joins the firm from rival West End outfit Quastel Midgen, where she was head of the matrimonial arm. She joins as department chief, with Miles Preston & Co solicitor Anna Stokeld joining her.
Prior to joining Quastel Midgen in 2007 Peters worked with top family lawyer Raymond Tooth of Sears Tooth.
She succeeds Ursula Danagher, who quit as head of family in November. Danagher left to join Memery Crystal along with partner Lindsey Alexander, stating that, unlike Howard Kennedy, her new firm is a “consultative firm where there’s more transparency and partner involvement”.
Peters said of her arrival: “Everyone I’ve met has been very supportive. I look forward to growing the team and working closely with each department.”
