It's no secret that there's no love lost between media law firm Carter-Ruck and Associated Newspapers, publishers of the Daily Mail, but Tulkinghorn has heard relations may have become a tad more strained.
Media and entertainment set 5 Raymond Buildings (5RB) recently held a quiz night where the great and good from the defamation world pitted their wits. The contest left Carter-Ruck smarting, however, as its team finished last, behind rival firms including Olswang and Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
