JD Wetherspoon's director of legal services and licensing David Isaac was bemused to find himself centre stage of The Lawyer's recent exposé of troubled firm Morgan Cole. It seems the gremlins may have interfered with our picture library and sneaked a picture of the in-house lawyer into the feature in place of private practice lawyer David Isaac.
That Isaac did indeed leave Morgan Cole in 2000 to join Masons. But the other Isaac has never worked at Morgan Cole and remains (very happily) at JD Wetherspoon. Tulkinghorn would like to reassure the panel solicitors that called him up to ask if he was leaving that Isaac ain't going anywhere. Capeesh?
