Addleshaw Goddard’s Monica Burch wears two
hats. On one hand she has serious credentials as an
active member of the firm’s growing contentious
group; on the other, she is Addleshaws’ diversity
champion and training principal, leading the firm’s
efforts to increase access to the profession.
Burch is an ideal person to represent diversity. She
works flexibly and yet manages to split her practice
with management duties. During the past year she
has led Addleshaws’ efforts to increase diversity,
getting the firm involved in a scheme in which
lawyers visit schools to encourage pupils to consider
the law as a career.
