Simmons & Simmons partner Iain Cullen is a leading
figure in further investment funds and the past 12
months have cemented his reputation.
Cullen and his team continue to dominate the
hedge fund market, advising on a succession of
high-profile mandates. Most recently Cullen
advised on the launch of new hedge funds for
Gartmore Investment, Fortis Investments and
RAB Capital.
Cullen’s practice focuses particularly on hedge
funds and financial services regulation and he
continues to play a pivotal role in the development
of the industry. This was highlighted in 2006 when
he chaired the Alternative Investment
Management Association working party, which
formulated the industry guidance on side letters in
conjunction with the Financial Services
Association.
