| Since Guy Hinchley became its managing partner in
2001, Mills & Reeve’s Birmingham office has more
than doubled in size, swelling from seven to 15
partners. Firm turnover in the same period
increased from £27.3m to £49.1m, a 79 per cent
increase, while in Birmingham it has quadrupled.
As well as leading Birmingham, Hinchley also led
the firm’s winning bid to join London’s first-ever triborough
legal panel, accompanying Sharpe Pritchard
and Trowers & Hamlins in advising the boroughs of
Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
In recognition of his success, in October the firm
announced that Hinchley is to take over as overall
managing partner from March next year, while
incumbent Mark Jeffries becomes senior partner. |
