Gideon Moore has been making a name for himself
working on high-value, hotly contested LBO
financings having joined Linklaters from Dibb
Lupton Alsop in 1999.
Moore has become central to Linklaters’ small but
ambitious and highly rated acquisition finance team.
He advised Citigroup and Credit Suisse Group on
the financing for Bayer’s €16.3bn (£11.4bn) ‘white
knight’ agreed takeover bid for German
pharmaceutical company Schering.
He also featured prominently on one of Europe’s
largest ever LBOs, advising Barclays Capital,
Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank,
JPMorgan and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) on
the mammoth financing of the Apax-led
consortium’s bid for Danish telecoms company
TDC.
Moore has also been one of the central lawyers in
second-lien financing, having previously reeled in
the £1.25bn Gala recapitalisation for RBS and
Merrill Lynch. |
