another stellar year in 2006, due in no small part to
the contribution of Fiona Franklin. As chair of the
firm’s business development committee she is
heavily involved with developing existing client
relationships and building new ones, as well as
overseeing all tenders.
And on the tender front, Franklin and Sackers
had a prolific year. Franklin successfully pitched
for the trustee work of the National Grid UK
pension scheme, while her key clients include
Nationwide Building Society, Newsquest Media
Group, News International, Nestlé and the
Berkeley Group.
Furthermore, Franklin, who has been at the
firm for her entire career, is a powerful role
model for flexible working. She works four days
a week and stays in touch with the office on the
fifth day.
