| Tasked with providing the infrastructure for the
London 2012 Olympic Games, the Olympic Delivery
Authority turned to project finance and infrastructure
specialist Celia Carlisle as its general counsel.
Carlisle, who spent the previous two years
working as a consultant on project and
infrastructure projects, now finds herself at the
sharp end of one of the highest-profile and most
demanding general counsel jobs imaginable.
Carlisle has previously worked for Jarvis on the
£1.8bn London Underground PPP as UK general
counsel for investment company Edison Capital and
for the Eurorail consortium on its bid for the
Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Most recently she advised
EDF Energy on PPP and PFI projects.
It is a background that should stand her in good
stead for running the legal function behind the
nation’s most important construction projects. |
