Ashurst energy, transport and infrastructure partner Logan Mair led on more than his fair share of the major deals in his sector during the past year.
He advised the Pyramid Consortium on the successful closing of the £75m Telford Education and Learning PFI project and also advised NIB Capital Bank and Norddeutsche Landesbank on the $270m (£147.6m) Dumfries & Galloway Waste Management PFI contract.
Mair is particularly known for projects in the education, defence, waste, transport and accommodation sectors, and acts on behalf of a number of sponsors, lenders, subcontractors and public sector agencies. He also sits on Ashurst’s management board. Ashurst has a booming projects practice, and in Mair it has a lawyer at the top of his game.
