With just seven years’ PQE under his belt, Jonathan Wood played pivotal roles on a record number of high-profile deals recently.
In October 2004, he assisted Lovells’ private equity star Marco Compagnoni with the £525m disposal of Westminster Health Care. Then, in July 2005, he juggled the £409m disposal of Littlewoods stores in conjunction with the £44m disposal of the Index retail business.
Wood has also played a key role in strengthening Lovells’ relationship with client Advent International. Last August he advised the organisation on its €600m (£411.2m) disposal of MACH, the Luxembourg-based mobile telecommunications company.
More recently, Wood was lead solicitor on the acquisition of Aircom International by Advent International. This is one lawyer to keep an eye on in the coming year. |
