Jason Glover is probably the most prominent partner in one of Clifford Chance’s most successful practice areas in London. Last year he confirmed his status as one of the stars of the sector with fundraising for Barclays Private Equity II - probably the fastest private equity fundraising of more than €1bn (£685.3m) ever, which took a mere two months from start to finish.

He also advised Actis, Butler Capital Partners (a first foray into the French domestic market), EQT’s first turnaround fund and Europa Capital Partners. Not only that, he also maintained client relationships with Carlyle Group, Charterhouse Development Capital, Duke Street Capital, Star Capital Partners and UBS.

Looking ahead, Glover’s order book for 2006 already looks busy: he is acting on fund mandates raising over €19.5bn (£13.36bn) for the first half of the year.
