Greg Jordan is in charge of Reed Smith, one of the world’s most ambitious and fastest-growing law firms. In 2005, the US firm opened in Munich and Paris. The opportunistic raids on Luther Menold and Rambaud Martel were just the latest in a series of mergers or mass laterals that have transformed Reed Smith since Jordan took charge in 2001.
At the same time, Jordan has put in place a number of initiatives that have kept profitability growing at a similar rate to turnover. Not one to rest on his laurels, Jordan is targeting China, Chicago and Texas next. It is likely that 2006 will be as expansive as 2005.
