Eleanor Evans joined Corus Group in August 2005 from the global gases company BOC. As general counsel of BOC, Evans significantly developed the company’s global legal function.

Now, as UK director of group legal at Corus, she has both the legal affairs of Corus’s UK businesses and the legal aspects of strategic and financial initiatives from its London headquarters on her table

Evans is working on developing business-focused legal support for all the Corus businesses in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. The project involves assessing the business’s legal needs and risks and allocating legal resources, internal and external, accordingly. No easy task but the experienced Evans is more than a match for it.
