Donna Pumfrey is director of legal and corporate affairs at MBNA Europe Bank, where 2005 has been a challenging year with a range of legislative and regulatory changes and interventions.

Pumfrey has been at the front of tackling the changes to the credit card industry, taking responsibility for MBNA’s industry relations team. She has also been appointed company secretary and as MBNA’s representative on the leading banking industry trade associations.

Pumfrey has demonstrated how in-house lawyers can use their skills to diversify successfully into related areas of activity.
