  • Having been a victim of 2008 I agree with all that you have written, however entrepreneurial options have not been explored in you article. I was in house counsel for a major real estate developer in Montreal, lost my job in June 2008 due to the crisis and am proud to declare that I have successfully launched a boutique commercial/corporate firm catering to small* & medium size companies unwilling or unable to pay the previously over inflated legal rates we will not see return en masse any time soon.

  • Elaine Roseberg I agree completely. Many clients I work for haven't access to funds to allow them to pay traditional legal fees within the sport industry as they aren't megastars (yet) however still need the same appropriate advice to sustain themselves within their chosen industry.
