Tulkinghorn could hardly contain himself the other day when he learned that DLA was hiding its light under a bushel. To be more accurate, the head of the firm’s technology, media and communications group in its Sheffield office, Richard Taylor, is the modest party.
Taylor, not content with putting in the hours as a high-flying lawyer, is also a best-selling author. His tome, which by all accounts is a heart-quickening must-read, is called How To Read A Church.
No kidding – but it was only beaten to the top spot in the The Sunday Times’ 2003 best-selling Art & Architecture end-of-year lists by the catalogue of the Titian Exhibition. It is also now available for a cut-price sum of £7 on amazon.co.uk.
